Media Advisory:

One of Ohio’s largest and most viable industries faces a dramatic shortage of workers in the coming years. A significant “talent gap” in the insurance industry will offer career opportunities and stability for job seekers in the state of Ohio.

Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor, who is also director of the Ohio Department of Insurance, will officially launch a statewide program that will impact the workforce in the state and help protect one of Ohio’s leading industries. The announcement will educate students, veterans and career-changers in Ohio about professional opportunities, while simultaneously maintaining Ohio’s place as an insurance leader.
